Radio Astronomy Supplies® “New” FIBER OPTIC WIDE BAND IF SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM is here! This system will help you enhance your IF signal with virtually no loss over lengths of a miles/kilometers. The system consists of the RAS-1401T transmitter and RAS-1401R receiver. Both utilize linear intensity modulation (IM) to transmit wideband IF signals over distances of several miles. Fiber Cable is optional. Please inquire as to length and cost prior to ordering.
The system operates with standard single-mode optical fiber and installation only requires a simple one-minute gain adjustment. In addition, integral LEDs are provided on both units to continuously indicate the presence of repetitive signals as well as the presence of operating power making system troubleshooting simple.
